Application:

Designed as a decorative barrier to stop hip tiles slipping and falling from the roof.

Installation:

• Nail or screw the Hip Iron to the hip rafter prior to bedding the tiles on mortar.
• If using nails, use 30 x 3.75 square twist nails.

Variations:

200mm long 3mm thick Baby Hip Iron

300mm long Hip Irons with a thickness of 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm.

Material:

All Hip Irons are manufactured from mild steel, with a hot dipped galvanised finish applied after manufacture.
