Aluminium Soakers
Application:
Aluminium Soakers are used as an economical alternative to lead flashing when forming a pitched wall against another.
Installation:
- The soakers must be inserted between successive courses of brickwork to make the joint waterproof. Each soaker is nailed to the battens and dressed down the roof slope with its bottom edge covered by the slate above.
- Fix using alloy nails.
Variations:
Aluminium Soakers are made in 50mm increments starting at 150mm wide x 50mm x 100mm.
